About Preeti

Two neighbours—one a friend like family to the mother, the other her daughter—came together in a relationship that never recognised age or time. A bond nurtured over more than four decades, rooted in trust, warmth, and shared values, evolved naturally into a shared vision.

What connected them deeply was their mutual love for couture and an unwavering passion for heritage and its revival in today’s fast-paced world of fashion. United by a firm belief in giving back, they were driven by a common purpose: to empower India’s weavers and preserve the timeless artistry of our handlooms.

Their shared obsession with Banarasi weaves—rich in history, craftsmanship, and soul—became the foundation of Mannhari. The name itself reflects the essence of the brand: heartfelt, rooted in tradition, and created with care.

Mannhari stands today as a celebration of legacy and modern living, where every weave tells a story, and every creation honours the hands that make it.

About Radhika

My journey began in the corporate world, where appearance and confidence went hand in hand. Somewhere along the way, my admiration for sarees evolved into a deep passion—rooted in the richness of Banarasi craftsmanship and complemented by modern shirts and Indo-Western designs.

I learned that looking good isn’t about fashion alone; it’s about how it makes a woman feel—strong, confident, and empowered. This belief led me to create Mannhari, a brand where tradition blends seamlessly with modern living, helping women feel beautiful with ease.

Threads of Heritage By Preeti Khanna

Banaras there exists a legacy woven into the fabric of time itself. This town was known for its masterful weavers, whose skillful hands created sarees so exquisite that they are treasured across the land. The sarees were not just garments; they were stories, memories, and traditions passed down through generations.

Their sarees renowned for their intricate designs, inspired by the natural beauty—the delicate flowers, the winding rivers, and the majestic mountains. Each saree is telling  a story, capturing the essence of their culture and the love imbued in every thread.

The city has its own sound of ‘thak thak thak’ of the power looms and the handlooms that seem to be the breath of the all the weavers.
